I'm on Domino's Pizza website and just for kicks ordered a large (14-inch) one-topping pizza.
Total is US$14.08.
Add tax: $1.18
Delivery charge: $1.99
Total: $17.25
Now, until online ordering (new to me), I never realized I was already paying for a delivery charge all these years. What a sham! So what am I tipping the driver for?

My husband worked at dominos in ohio they dont get the delivery charge, only like a dollar per order commision depending on the franchise owner, we used to get the 3 one topping med. for 15$. in my opinion dominos isnt worth it anyway

Yes.. Pizza cost about that much amount nowadays. I remember back then, it only cost me 11 dollars, and that is including tips.

Hardly ever do you not pay a delivery charge for pizza or anything else delivered to you. Supposedly the driver doesn't see the money from the delivery charge, which is why you're supposed to tip him/her. too. They can drop dead. After tip my pizza is going to be 50% more than it is advertised as costing.
Yeah that sounds about right. I Anytime I order a pizza I spend about $20 with tip. Delivery charge isn't for the person's pocket. It's for the gas tank. It goes up when gas prices go up.
Subway is alot more healthy and cheaper. I'd recommend Subway. ;)

Yeah there is always a delivery charge. That's why when I order pizza I get it for carry out. No delivery charge and I don't have to tip the driver.
I am always amazed at how much people will try to charge for pizza! And Domino's is Cheap Crappy pizza too! Look at the prices of some gourmet pizza, $23.75 to sit in a restaurant and eat a pizza with only veggies on it! $25.75 if you want it delivered!! Yes, the pizza world has lost it's mind..

Well, your problem is that you are ordering from a chain restaurant. Try eating at local independently run restaurants instead. The food is immensely better, and they're usually cheaper. I get 2 XL 2-topping pizzas for just shy of $15.00 at my local pizzeria, or 1 XL 2 topping for just shy of $9.00. After tax.
When I lived elsewhere, I used to get a large cheese pizza at my favourite pizzeria for $5.00.
And, you are tipping the driver for his service. Delivery charges are for the company, not the driver. It covers gas. Definitely always tip someone who drives all the way to your house to bring you something - otherwise, just go pick it up yourself.
i hate ordering pizza. it is expensive! sometimes i have cravings; otherwise, it's digiorno(sp?)!

ok the delivery charge is what they pay the driver which is 32 cents per mile they go which doesn't even cover the gas now a days at the end of your shift you give them the number of miles before work and the number after and they pay you for mileage

Being an old man (well, 48 is middle-aged) I remember when a Domino's large pizza was 16", not 14". A single topping was $6.98. Mind you, that was 1984 (probably before most people here were born). I had to know what the competition charged (I ran a pizzeria in a college town) so we could undercut them.
Actually, delivery charges are a recent phenomenon. The reason some chains started using them was two-fold: gas prices were rising (and drivers were spending a lot to deliver your pizza) and fewer people were tipping. The Dominos near me does not add a delivery charge. In addition, I use the coupons on the web site or in the paper if and when I order.

Does anyone know anything about gmail?
ok so at my work the only way to get paid is to invoice your hours online by emailing them. i made a gmail account and when i goto send it this is what it says.
User "blank" is not listed in Domino Directory
but when i had a hotmail account and i would send to that address i would have no problems. someone hacked my hotmail account and changed the password. and yes the email i'm sending to works for everyone else at my work.Does anyone know anything about gmail?
Gmail has nothing to do with a Domino Directory. You're doing something wrong.

In the last week the following has occured:
1 My friend who is married, is most likely get back together with his wife who:
Insults him.
May have cheated on him.
Does not support him.
Acts shady.
Granted this guy is not perfect but he can do better and has.
Why is he staying with her.
Probably because his parents did not stay married and he wants a family.
2. For 6 weeks after I got this chics number she continues to play games with me. I do find her attractive and do like her. However, she sometimes returns my pages and then acts shy as if she does not know me when I see her at work. Last week I confronted her and she said "Oh have only 30 minutes for lunch..... and then try to play it off like its no big deal. This morning she smiled and said hello and I said the same. Fine. I will suck it up.
3. On Wednesday I helped this chic out I met online.
Nothing big but it was a gesture.
We were supposed to hook up on Thursday and Friday.
She flaked both days.
Her excuse: "**** happens"
I am a professional.
I am polite.
I have a beemer and I live in a nice area of LA.
The vast majority of people I know at work like me.
I try to help whenever or whereever I can.
So for the women laughing and saying" Ha thats what you get!
Men deserve to be treated like that! Ha Ha Ha! "
Well you won.
And yes I am hurting.
And I cannot control other men even though I care about them.
The only thing I can promise all of you is this:
I will not break.
And one day, one fine day SO HELP ME GOD,
It wont be violent.
It wont be illegal.
There will be a reckoning.
There will be justice and fairness.

I give credit for putting up with a steady woman. And the key thing is in general I do well with women. I just broke up with a cougar a 2 weeks ago. Need help buying a PC Gaming Rig?
Hi guys i have a budget of 1.5k - 1.6k 拢gbp i was looking online for a pc gaming machine.was wondering if this rig is any good for the price its from wired2fire.co.uk using them as i got my last pc from there and they rely do help you out on phone and even sent out a pc engineer to get my last pc working free of charge. but if you guys know of a better deal elsewhere would love to hear. again its for gaming only.and also i have no idea how to build my own.

Those specs are good enough to make you stop thinking about upgrades for a while.
I'm pretty sure you'll be able to play the most graphic intensive games in a breeze.
Price is a bit on the high, but nothing out of this world. If you dig those components on different sites, you'd be able to save a few quid in the end of the deal. Probably not worth it as different sites have different posting charges.
Make sure your OS is a 64 bit edition, otherwise you'll be paying all the 6GB of RAM but will end up using only 3GB.
