How old do you have to be to work at dominos?

yesterday i had an interview at dominos and this was going to be my first interview. When i went to take the interview the interviewer told me that you need to be 18 to work here, im 17, when i was applying online it said that the mininum age to work at dominos is 16, so i told the interviewer this and he called some 1 to make sure, then he was like yea you have to be 18. I was really disapointed because i was really looking foward to the interview and the job. I just wanna know if you really do need to be 18 or the interviewer had been misinformed.How old do you have to be to work at dominos?
