Rube Goldberg help please?

I am making a minimum 8 step one for physics, and I am lost. I have spent 4 hours gathering materials such as dominoes, tracks, marbles and other random things commonly used. Could someone string some simple steps together and get me on the right track? Thanks ive looked online and the videos arent really helping either.Rube Goldberg help please?
For what you have spent 4 hours collecting, the marbles roll down the tracks and knocks on the dominoes. The dominoes then activates or knocks on something else. Keep thinking of steps which will continue knocking on the next steps and finally to an end point.

Other things:

Burning of strings and stuff like that gives a slight time delay before the next step. Rolling objects also have that effect.

Making a fall, dropping objects can be added as steps and adds excitment. But if they land on the wrong place, it will not be so great...

Just make sure the order you put your steps can be continued, there are certain dead ends that you need to watch out for.

Examples include nothing more to knock on, fallen on the wrong place etc.Rube Goldberg help please?
Sounds like you forgot about seesaw/teetertotter and pulleys. Those are always good for a couple of extra steps. Also, first step: light a candle, that burns a string, that releases a marble....
