How to get hired as a domino's delivery driver?

I applied online to work at domino's down the street from my house. on their ad board outside the restaurant it says they are hiring delivery drivers. on the application, i told them i could work afternoons and evenings all week and work on saturday and sunday. and i'm completely qualified for everything, 2 years of driving experience, some experience in the service industry. but on the application it did ask about my driving violation record. and i have had 2 speeding tickets in the last 2 years. thats the only bad thing i had on there. the manager at dominos said to call after i sent in the application, but the "human resources" department at dominos sent me an email saying i didnt match what they needed for the job. dominos has had the "hiring delivery drivers" sign up for almost a month now.How to get hired as a domino's delivery driver?
Dominos is a franchise, so the owner of the establishment would be doing the deciding on who to hire. Those signs they have up about hiring, great hours and pay, etc are always up...hiring or not. If they didnt hire you, it may be because they actually needed a day driver as most drivers want the evening 'rush' shifts.

Maybe you can go and ask to be an "insider" instead (answer the phones, make pizzas, etc). How to get hired as a domino's delivery driver?
The owner of this Dominio's is probably desperate for a driver. It is frustrating for him to have you rejected by "corporate headquarters". Go in and talk to him. Tell him you will work the first week for no pay- only tips. And you promise you won't have any problems obeying the rules of the road.

But you also need to apply at other restaurants, too. They all need drivers and they probably pay more than Domino's..How to get hired as a domino's delivery driver?
The speeding tickets probably did you in. You will probably have to wait until at least one clears off your record.
Steve D was probably right.

Walk up into that shop and talk to the manager. Give it another chance.
