Its a social networking site similar to facebook except they pay you the longer you spend on your profile.
There is a lot of pop up ads which does get annoying but your browser will block most of them anyway.

There are communication barriers especially when related to making money online. Sometime people don't find it easy to share with others what they know because they don't want to interact with people with different mindset. These different mindset is just make it harder for the helper. And time is valuable. So you don't want to run into people with get rich quick mentality. Some people want to go this path and don't like that path. So I can say to you some real things online will not be obvious because of that reason.
If making money offline is hard I can say that making money online is even harder for beginner. And that is contrary to what you see in most sales letter online selling somethings. But when you have set the foundation it will become easier and easier. Anyhow it takes time to build the foundation. So when there is no patient people won't succeed online. And it is even harder when you get overwhelmed with information.

this is a great paid to click site. It pays $1-$5 to click an ad and stay for about 30 seconds which I thought was too good to be true but I did actually make it and get paid. The only downside is the cashout is a little high but theres no fee to join and very little efort invested its worth it. Good Luck :)
I agree about starting your own business if it has to be online, or if not then getting a real job like someone else said.
